Hey Crafty Friends, Welcome to this month's Totally Techniques blog hop. Our band of international Stampin' Up! demonstrators are sharing the Cling Film Wrap technique. It's fun and very simple and uses just ink, water spritz and cling film from your kitchen drawer.
Start by placing a piece of cling film on your table that is bigger than your water colour card piece that you wish to ink. Stamp your ink water based ink pads onto the cling film then spritz with water. I used a Stampin' Up! spritzer bottle with tap water in it. It needs to have enough water spritzed on the ink to make it start to move as you can see in the picture above. I also added some splatters of Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.
Place your watercolour card, I used Fluid 100 from Stampin' Up!. onto the inky surface. Gather the corners of the cling film and then flip the whole thing over. Just be careful to have caught up the cling edges so as not to flick ink everywhere!
You then need to 'scrunch' the cling film as shown below leaving lots of mini folds across your paper. Fold the excess cling film over the sides and underneath. Now the difficult part you need to let it dry completely before you do anything else.
Having die cut lots of leaves I used them to create a wreath on a black card matt and card base. I added a silver heat embossed 'Sending' and simply stamped Birthday Wishes both from the Sending Smiles bundle, this bundle will soon be available from the new 2022 - 2023 Annual Stampin Up! catalogue.
The colours I used are from our new incoming In Color family which you can get for free from 3 May along with some other lovely In Color products if you join my team. Ask me for more details soon.

Happy stamping and keep safe.
