Stampin' Up! Spring Mini - so lovely

What more could you want to adorn a card, gift box or cloth bag than one of these beautiful Blossom Party Die flowers.  Yes it's a Stampin' Up! exclusive die and can be used on over 50 different types of material including fabric hence the reference to decorating cloth bags or making fabric flower brooches.

The die is available from Stampin' Up! and in is the current Spring Mini Catalogue.  By it now before the end of March along with a couple of other trinkets and you'll get yourself a free stamp set or pack of very yummy everyday enchantment designer series paper.   The die is very reasonably priced at £16.50 and will bring you hours of die cutting fun.  I've teamed it up with the Stampin' Around standard wheel Musical Notes and a fitting sentiment from Thank You Kindly.   A little bit of smudging with a sponge dauder, curling with my paper piercer handle ,  pearls and you're there! What could be simpler.

There's also this version of the same card which I intended for One Layer Wednesday Challenge, but I only realised today that the W in OLW stood for Wednesday so I'm to late to offer my cream base, black ink with a bit of bling card, but I'd still like to share it with you.  Ornate Flowers provides surprisingly the flower, the sentiment is the same and having stamped the image I masked it with paper and then used the Stampin' Around wheel.  This time rhinestones added dimension to the centre of my flower and covered the challenge requirement of 'bling'.
You can see other cards using the Stampin Around Musical Notes Wheel.
Hope you are not having such a scatty day as me!

Team Training

Earlier this week we held a team meeting at my house and I showed everyone how to make one of the gift card holders that I made for my friend's son's birthdays.  This time I used some bright girlie colours and made a very flambouyant version with bling and wow factor ribbon.  Don't you just love rich razzleberry stripe grosgrain. It's not only the name of this colour, but everything that comes in it that is wonderful.  It teams particularly well with old olive and marina mist too!  The image is another favourite of mine from the Ornate Flowers Stamp Set and that too lends itself well to being coloured with markers to create a grand effect in these vibrant colours.
The gift card holder is so easy to make and makes more of a gift than just a plain card or cheque.
Make this a great day!

Spring colours with discount!

zoe tant stampin up demonstrator

The weeks are flying by and I don't seem to be able to keep up at present.  Last night I attended a Ladies Pamper Evening and showed folk how to make a very simple Mother's Day card and at the same time Olivia had a stall at her school spring fair selling items that she and I had made.  She was thrilled with her profit made for school.  We've also had the usual run of clubs with Charlie visiting the local 'Nick' and having his finger prints taken!!!!!! I know he's only 7 and went for an official visit with Beavers not because of any misdemeanor.  I've hosted several techniques clubs earlier in the week and will share the project with you soon, but wanted to have a go at The Less is More challenge this week which is a sketch.  I've turned it on its side to do mine and used some of the March Frenzy products.  If you are looking for a bargain  you can get the following products at a great discount right up until the end of March.

My card includes
Shimmery White cardstock                     usually    £7.50     now only   £5.25
Spot On jumbo wheel                                           £8.50                     £6.80
Greenhouse Gale dsp                                            £8.75                     £7.00
Cheer & Wishes stamp set                                    £16.95                   £11.87

These and many other products are enjoying either 20% or 30% discount throughout March.

The Greenhouse Gala papers co-ordinate with the Ornate Flowers stamp set and I'm really enjoying using this.  The emblem in my card is from that set and looks great in different colours. If you remember I used it here too!  The colour combo is baja breeze, daffodil delight and pear pizzaz; some great spring colours ! I'm not normally a yellow fan, but daffodil delight has really grabbed me and I've already used several rolls of this gorgeous taffeta ribbon.

I must go now as world war 3 is breaking in the Tant household while Charlie can't find his mini lego white horse!!!!!!!!
Have a great day!
