Christmas Card Club with Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge

Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge makes a fun Christmas Card Wreath

I promised this morning I'd be back with another quick post. I'm a little later than planned as I was late home from Onstage 2016 at Telford and was happy, but shattered and so slept in.  My earlier post was scheduled.
Our day was so much fun yesterday.  I travelled over on Friday with some friends and we stayed once again in the most delightful B&B.  On arrival, we sat in the victorian sitting room with its roaring log fire, drank tea and ate homemade scones, strawberry cake and for those that liked walnut and coffee cake there was some of that too.  I was ready to curl up and snooze then, but headed out to the CentreStage event laid on by Stampin' Up! for senior managers.  We had a short presentation and then a delicious meal and we received a gorgeous back pack which is the same colour as a new colour coming in soon. I will share a pic tomorrow as I'm not allowed just yet.  I can share some of the fun at the event though.

Table I sat at were awarded some balloons as a bit of fun. So here is me before I took them back to our B&B for my friend Mikaela's little boy to find when he woke up the next morning.  He's only 5 and I'm sure he loved the outgoing in colour balloons!
The tables were beautifully laid also and decorated with these stunning flowers.

Yesterday at the actual Onstage Event we were given a copy of the new Stampin Up 2016 - 2017 catalogue and you can almost see it here as my bestie Emily received hers!  Sorry to tease, but we can't quite show it all just yet.

Now my card for  this fortnight's Christmas Card Challenge.  Our challenger this time is Valery who set the theme of Red Berries.  I've created a fun, modern wreath card and used real red candy dots for my berries.  I stamped around in a rough circle using one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge in garden green ink, added the berries and also cut a red foil card bow using a die from The Wonderful Wreath Framelits.  There is also the inevitable bling of some tiny rhinestones for added sparkle.

Don't forget to visit the others in our challenge who have some great inspiration for Red Berries.

More soon.

Christmas card club - anything goes

It's my challenge theme for Christmas Card Club and I set a very open theme of Anything Goes as we are all busy a fortnight out from Christmas.  I'm sharing a project that we made at one of my recent classes which can be stood or hung up as an alternative wreath/star.  It was fun and easy to make and took less than half a pack of the Stampin' Up! Merry Moments designer series paper stack.

To decorate the centre I stamped a wreath using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits to cut it out.  In that set of framelits there is the word Noel too which looks good cut out of gold glimmer paper.  A handful of snowflake elements (now sadly sold out) with some pie crust rhinestones added some extra seasonal sparkle.  I will share measurements and other materials in another post for anyone who wishes to have a go.

Please check out the other ladies in our challenge club and if you'd like to join us in prepping your Christmas cards and decorations throughout the year please do let me know the more the merrier.

Have a great Sunday.

Class cards - Join my next Stampin' Up! Class

I have been busy with several weekend classes recently and parties. At one of the classes the ladies made a whole selection of cards and they requested that they made some Christmas cards to help with their build up to dare I say Christmas 2015!

The card on the left uses the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Wondrous Wreath stamp set and framelits and also some designer series paper all in the Spring catalogue.  The paper is called Stacked with Love which is appropriate as it's a mini stack of papers perfect for adding accents to cards like this and for any projects with a theme of Love.

The card on the right is one I cased  from Helen  and it uses the very popular Stampin' Up! set Festival of Trees which you can see more examples of on previous posts.

I'll share other class cards soon and you might like to come to one of my classes by looking at the dates via the tab at the top of this page.

More soon. Zx

Christmas Gifts with Wondrous Wreath

One thing I love about my job as a Stampin' Up! UK demonstrator is being able to bring out others creativity. I love sharing simple ideas and tips to help others create lovely projects. Now on this occasion I've done nothing of the sort as I've wrapped this gift on behalf of Dad for my Mum, but as she now crafts and joins me at the European Stampin' Up! Convention I know she will appreciate having a gift wrapped with love just the present is being given with lots of love by Dad.  It kept him happy too as he's spent time with some of his grand  children and watched the football!!!

I just know that Mum will love this surprise too!

Here's hoping that your wishes come true too!

Now I need to get mine wrapped and hidden we still have a child who borders on belief!

Wondrous Wreath Christmas Card Video Tutorial

Back in October  I shared a picture of a card I made using the Stampin' Up! Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching Wonderful Wreath framelits.  Last week I was asked by Brenda Quintana if I would object to her making a video tutorial showing how to make the card.  I was honoured and am delighted to share her video with you.

The stamp set and dies from the Stampin' Up! UK winter catalogue are also cheaper when bought as a bundle saving you 15% off the price when bought individually. You can buy them in my Stampin' Up! Shop . The stamps are photopolymer and the framelits can big used in a big shot or other die cutting machine.

Thanks Brenda for your video.

Two Wondrous Wreaths for the price of one!

Inspired by a machine made card we received last Christmas I've been playing with my Stampin' Up! Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating Wonderful Wreath Frame lits to come up with this card which is a little different in it's layout.

Closed it looks like an aperture card with a single wreath on the front, but open it and you'll see two wreaths with sparkly bows made with the frame lits and yummy red glimmer paper.  Some cherry cobbler dazzling details and rhinestones coloured with Blendabilities and a spatter of snowflakes and sentiment from Endless Wishes and you have a great card for postage with interest!!

Back soon with cards from my Charity Fundraising World Card Making Day pictures.
