Gift Packaging idea using Stampin' Up! set Happy Holly-days

gift wrap idea papercraft with happy holly-days stamp set
So can you spot my error in my rush to get this cute sour cream gift packaging idea shared with you for November's Moving Along with the Times challenge?

We are challenging you to share projects that are anything but a card.  I've a card I know, but it is really to share the super cute package that I stamped and made using the Happy Holly-Days stamp set and the fabulous and loaded DSP pack that you can get when you place a qualifying order for FREE!!!  Of course the alternative is to join Stampin' Up! this month and you can earn lots of free product for FREE starting with the special offer price of joining of just £75.  You pay no shipping on your new kit and you can choose up to £130 of lovely Stampin' Up! goodies.  Did I say it is only £75 in November 2021.

As a member of my team and the Stampin' Up! community you will get early sight and access to new catalogues and products, benefit from a discount on your shopping whilst a member, the option to attend member only events and also the opportunity to make great friendships with all the lovely people you will meet.  We are a friendly community and all love paper crafting.  You'll also have the benefit of learning new skills for crafting and get lots of ideas and inspiration from other team members.

To make the sour cream container I stamped tone on tone onto red card and then added tear and tape to three  connected sides of the card.  Roll the card into a tube and adhere with one side of the tear and tape.  Then peel off the backing on one other side and gently squeeze the sides together.  Do the same to the other end of the tube, but squeeze the sides in the opposite direction to the other end.  Of course one important thing to remember is to add your gift before you seal the second end.

I decorated my container with DSP from the host pack Pattern Play, die cut circles and some stamped and fussy cut holly from the Happy Holly-days stamp set which I coloured with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  The card coordinates and the sentiment is not actually upside down, just photographed in haste.  As a wise old man said to me as a young child ''More haste less speed!"

Have a great night and do join our MAWTT challenge HERE

Thanks for stopping by.

Keep stamping and keep safe

(o: A lovely set of matching packaging and (upside-down) card Zoe :o) the black and white gingham goes so well with the bright card stock and this design makes a beautiful little pouch to hold all manner of gifts. I did laugh when I read your post because I hadn't noticed that you'd photographed your card upside down until you mentioned it :o)
