It's August Promotion Time with a blog hop!!!

Hi everyone and welcome if you've joined me from Sarah's blog.

Wow what a whirl these past few weeks have been. My little girl, or rather not so little girl has left primary school having taken part in an amazing leavers assembly and is now set to start at 'BIG' school in September. My little boy moves up to junior school, but will I suspect still win prizes or detentions for his stories! His parting shot from school was to take in a plastic dinosaur skeleton for show and tell. He tried to tell the teacher and his classmates that he'd been on an archaelogical dig and found it and that it was at thousands of years old!! That nearly tops when he told his nursery teacher that his granny used to live in a castle until she fell off the wall and the dragon ate her!!!

Now on to other exciting things! Well exciting for all of us who love to stamp! There is 20% discount on selected two step stamp sets for the whole of August from Stampin' Up! In addition to that I am offering a free mystery gift to anyone who spends £20 during August. Don't forget that if you spend £25 you can also get a token for my loyalty scheme which gives you a free stamp set when you've collected 10 tokens!
To give you some inspiration I'm part of a blog hop showcasing some of the stamp sets on offer.
The blog hop was organised by Sarah who suggested a scrapbook hop. I'm not a natural scrapper so decided to take up the challenge and have a go. I hope you like what I've done with Greenhouse Garden using melon mambo, bravo burgundy and pretty in pink. The odd mug or saucer was a great way to introduce some circles and markers and the white gel pen work wonders for faux stitching. The rub ons worked well for minimal journaling and a few punched borders outline the pictures. I made a ribbon flower with the bravo burgundy grosgrain ribbon and a pretty in pink button. It brings back special memories of fun times and my youth!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my do I sound old! From me you need to move onto to my great friend and team mate Emma who has used Loads of Love stamp set. Enjoy the hop and don't miss out on this fabulous discount during August!

The Mini is on it's way!!!!

The 2010 mini catalogue for Stampin' Up! will launch on 1 April and it has some fabulous products in it. Some new accessories, divine papers and just gorgeous stamp sets for you to enjoy. Not least it has some specialty designer papers called Night and Day in basic black and whisper white. In the mini there are some beautiful examples using it and teaming it with summer sun and that's where I've taken the inspiration for this card to get you in the swing for the launch in just a few weeks.
I'm so glad that Stampin' Up! decided to use Greenhouse Garden as a fund raising set for Haiti. It allowed me to buy this set and I've so enjoyed using it and here it is again! I've just taken one of the flowers and stamped it in summer sun with the 2 step part in basic black. I've teamed it with some 'wowy' paper from Pink Flamingo and it's certainly a wow card! The second card is a direct case from a card that Shelli Gardner, our CEO, made at convention back in Nov '09. It shows off our level 2 hostess set, Rustic Rooster, in all its finery. Similar colours to the first with a touch of real red for even more WOW.
Now a month does not go by without some fabulous offers from Stampin' Up! and March 2010 is no different. This month Stampin' Up! is offering 20% discount on selected punches when you purchase them with a qualifying stamp set. For more details you can click on the link in the side bar. I have also included a couple of pictures to show you what you can create with a single ink pad, punch, stamp set and pack of whisper white cardstock. This little bundle comes to £37.40 and would be a great starting point for a new stamper! Check out the offer to see which other stamp sets and punches are available along with this set - Say it with Scallops and the Scallop Square Punch.
Back soon with some more projects, but until then have a great day!
Hugs Zx

Make a difference in the lives of Haitian people!!

Stampin' Up! will donate £1 from every Greenhouse Garden Stamp Set sold from now until 28 February 2010 to the Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development Fund.

I will match this donation and give you free shipping on your order if you spend £45 including Greenhouse Garden (113824 £22.95) in your order. You will also receive a free Sale-a-bration Stamp Set of your choice. This offer is open to club members also. Additionally everyone who orders this set during this time will be entered into a draw to win a pretties kit worth £23.25.

I do not own this beautiful set, but now have it on order and I hope you will join me in supporting this worthy cause. I'm looking forward to experimenting with this beautiful stamp set. It works well with a stamp-a-ma-jig or freehand and many of the flowers fit nicely within the various circle punches.

Let hope that in the UK alone we raise a substantial amount to help these poor people, many of whom even before the earthquake had lives much less comfortable than most of us.

Make this a great day and help support someone much less fortunate than you!

Thank you in advance for your support.
