Just a quick post to share a thank you card to all my lovely team and customers and Stampin' Up! as before the sun rises in the morning Martin and I will be heading to the airport to fly out to Barcelona to join over 300 Stampin' Up! demos and their guests on a Mediterranean cruise.
I love my job and am so grateful to the folk who help and support me to build my business and earn such amazing trips.
I'm a little nervous as it's my first ever cruise and I'm not good traveller so I hope everyone is right when they say 'it's so big you won't feel the motion'.
My card is made with Timeless Textures using new in colours Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum and a wood element that I shall be sorry to see go when the current catalogue retires. I've loved this cute embellishments that you can leave as wood or emboss or colour. Of course there are my favourite splashes of bling too!
Hope to post during the week internet permitting.
Have a good one.
Hugs Zx

Creativity
At crop and share the theme for March's challenge is creativity and so I put to good use these pictures that Charlie's nursery teacher gave me some years ago. He's busy with his friend building..... Thankfully Sue allowed us to stray slightly from the word creativity as the title for our page and so hence 'creative little minds' was born. She also set us another challenge to 'doodle' on a project and I decided that it went well with this layout with building blocks and doodling.
I love the in colours of 2012-2014 including summer starfruit, raspberry ripple, gumball green, midnight muse and primrose petals and they are perfect for making building block shapes with punches various. The satin ribbons in these colours are fab too as they are really tactile and luxurious. A little bit of gel pen added more doodles and the broadsheet alphabet is just right for this project.
If you'd like to have a go at scrapbooking my new club starts on Thursday 16 May at 7.30pm. It costs £15 and includes supplies for a double page layout, refreshments and the use of punches, dies etc. Not only that it's a great way to learn some techniques, make new friends and book a slot to scrapbook in your diary. Let me know if you'd like to join in or need more information.
Happy Scrappin' Zx

Stampin' Up! Charming Stamp Set
Things are not going well today. My mojo has got up and gone and may be distant for a while. Our beloved dog, Meg is declining fast and furious and it's taking it's toll. As a consequence I'm struggling to concentrate on cardmaking or much else really. Thankfully the challenge at Less is More this week is a one layer card with the proviso that you use script in some shape or form. The Stampin' Up! set Charming is perfect in everyway for this challenge and has turned out ok using the latest Stampin' Up! In Colours of Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Indigo Island, Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade. Aren't they fabulous names for colours. Many of my customers are in the queue to be the next Stampin' Up! colour namer!!! I think the queue is long for such a fun post.
I hope you are having a more fruitful day. ZxSupplies

Clean and Simple Challenge 175
I find that entering challenges gives me a starting point for a project. Then I have the ability to choose stamps, colours and images depending upon the challenge of course, but generally with a sketch it's up to you. This card is following a sketch at Clean and Simple. It's challenge 175 It's given me a great opportunity to use some free stamp sets that I've earned through my spending either from Sale-a-bration or hostess sets.
I'm continuing to love the 2011-2013 In colours as well and her you can see Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Indigo Island and Wisteria Wonder. They are just yummy! My crimper makes another appearance as I'm on a roll using that and it works well with the stripes in the designer series paper.
I had already made the card below and when I saw the challenge I thought I'd use the same colours, but obviously with some variation to the tools and layout to suit the challenge. However I like both so I'm sharing them with you!
Why don't you visit the challenge and see some fab cards and then have a go yourself! Pop back to tell me and I can visit you.
