Wedding cards with Bravo Stampin' Up! Set

Last week I took part in the Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Cruise Achievers Blog Hop. Wow trying said that after a glass of wine or two....! The theme was wedding dreams and you can see my entries in my Wedding Dreams post, but I also made this card at the same time. Wedding season is here and so I thought I'd share this one also.

It's very simple using a collection of heart stamps from different Stampin' Up! sets including A Nice Cuppa, Tin of Cards and Beautiful Ride. Additionally I used the mini heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

I've added the faintest touch of silver thread and a handful of rhinestones along with whisper white punched hearts raised on stampin' dimensionals for a little depth.  I used the paper piercing mat from long ago, but the current  Updated Essentials set on p168 of the annual catalogue would be even better to add some detail to the border of my top layer.  You can't really see it, but the black layer is a piece of embossed card from the Colour Me Irresistable Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment in black archival ink says it all and is part of the Bravo stamp set which is full of congratulations and well done stamps.

Weddings are such happy times and let's face it the world needs happy right now.

Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Cruise Achiever's Blog Hop - Wedding Cards

Hi and welcome to the blog of Zoe Tant UK Stampin' Up! demo.  I've made simple, but elegant cards for our Wedding Wishes  March blog hop of Stampin' Up! Mediterranean Cruise Achievers.
I've used the gorgeous stamp set Timeless Love to make two, similar but different cards. The colours in the first are the scheme a friend has for her wedding coming up in June of blushing bride, gold and touches of green. I used pear pizzazz and wild washi.

I then also came across some 'naturals' stationary in Paperchase and thought I'd try something similar with the same design, but this time just with white heat embossing onto kraft card stock.  The heart addition is from the Tin of Cards stamp set.
Timeless Love is such a pretty stamp set and is also fabulous for wedding anniversary cards. You may remember my stamping scene post last summer with an anniversary card.

Thank you for joining in the blog hop. Remember if you started here with me Zoe Tant.  Now if you are looking for inspiration for wedding cards or other wedding crafting I know you will not be disappointed when you visit the other members of the hop.  Please do go visit the other Stampin' Up! demonstrators in this blog hop. It's easy to do just click on a name in the list below and it'll take you directly to another blog.

Enjoy browsing.

Stampin' Up! UK Wedding Ideas

It's been rather too long since I blogged, but I've been suffering with my health for a long time and like most Mums I've soldiered on and put it down to motherhood, but recently discovered it was a little more than that and so slowly I'm on the mend. Nothing serious, but it's left me unable to keep up with life.

That said Martin and I recently went to a friend's wedding. I knew the colour scheme as I was involved with the design and supply of materials.  I made her and her new hubby a card to match and wrapped the Project Life Album I made for them in similar colours, but used Stampin' Up! 's new Festive Designer Kraft paper rolls to wrap it in.  The flowers are made using the Spiral Flower Originals die on page 233 of the annual catalogue and the leaves are the retired Little Leaves sizzlit.
Colours on the day were basic grey, smoky slate, blushing bride (how appropriate!!) and whisper white.  My card also features Teeny Tiny Sentiments and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets along with a stencil made using the Hexagon Hive frame lit and Beautiful Wings embosslit for the butterflies.

Please bare with me as I get more organised and back in control but do keep popping by to see my posts.  Thanks for your patience.
