Very Versailles - easy to miss but never forgotten once seen

My card club ladies loved this card and the one we made this week.  They all admitted they hadn't spotted the Very Versailles set in the Stampin' Up! catalogue (page 113 if you've missed it too!).  However once they got to play with it they absolutely loved it and many have made the decision not to miss it again by popping it on their wishlist or in their shopping bag.

I used a very vanilla notelet to collage stamp on with Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake.  Layered over the top of my stamping I added a small piece of the leaf design paper from the Pressed Petals Specialty Paper with lace trim adhered to the reverse side and peeking out.  Before adding this I stamped 3rd generation script onto the paper and added some sponged Blackberry Bliss to the edges to make the dsp pop from the vanilla back ground.   I also added a sentiment using half the Timeless Label punch.

On top of the patterned paper (DSP) I added a flower using 5 petals from the roll of Pressed Petals washi tape which i stuck to a punched circle and also added a recoloured Bumble Bee bottom aka Perennial Essence Floral centres.  I used an alcohol marker, Stampin' Blend, in Cajun Craze to recolour it.

It is when all said and done a #simplestamping card with a couple of embellishment additions, but no huge skill is involved to create a pretty vintage card with a natural theme.

All these gorgeous bits and pieces are available in my Stampin' Up! shop.  Where at the moment you can earn a bonus for shopping. Every £45 spent in a single order Stampin' Up! will reward you with a coupon code worth £4.50 off your next order in August.  T's & C's apply but the details are in the shop.

Happy crafting and have a great weekend.

Hugs Zoe x

Stampin' Up! Alaska Achiever's Blog Hop

I can't believe how quickly the months are passing, but then after the weather we've been having in the UK the sooner Spring arrives with some brighter, warmer days the better.  It does mean it's time for another Stampin' Up! Achiever's Blog Hop though and we're sharing Saleabration and Spring catalogue inspiration with you.

I've been doing lots of sponge brayering with the Saleabration Springtime Foils designer series papers and thought I would share those. At my classes the ladies have loved seeing what you can do with these gorgeous papers. They are one sided, FREE, white embossed with silver gold and copper and FREE did I mention that with a qualifying order of £45 until the end of this month.

All you need to do is choose 3 coordinating colours and start brayering with the lighter colour first and slowly build up the colour and blending of one colour into the next. You can of course use 3 shades of one colour like green or blue to make a similar effect.  I then chose to use the Celebrate You dies also free with an order of £90.   I cut out the 'celebrate' and and stuck the coloured foil paper onto a piece of black card to make the word 'pop'.  I've added a couple more words from the Happy Celebrations stamp set and layered it onto a sweet sugar plum card base.  Other colours used are peekaboo peach and flirty flamingo.  These three colours along with dapper denim and emerald envy are our outgoing in colours so if any are your favourite stock up now before the rush especially on re inkers.

Now with the die cut word I created another card .
I took another piece of the Springtime Foils which is actually nearer in weight to card than paper and so is good for gift boxes and bags too. I die cut a label and again brayered colour onto it with sweet sugar plum.  I layered it onto a larger die cut in the same colour for tone on tone and added some silver thread, rhinestones and silver metallic edged ribbon.  A little spotty stamping with the mini background stamp from Stampin' Up! You're Inspiring to draw in all the colours.  By using the die cut and the stencil it created it leaves very little waste and you really get value from your card.

Saleabration will end soon which is always a little bit sad as we've all benefitted from free gifts, extras as hostesses and those who've taken the plunge to join our fantastic company have been rewarded with extra stamp sets. There's still time until 31st March to get some bonuses for you too so please do check out Stampin' Up! 's Saleabration deals.

Enjoy the rest of the hop by visiting others on the list below.

Thanks for visiting me.

I love my job as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in the UK

It's tough when you get a holiday in Thailand for free.  Yes FREE!!!

I'm here in Thailand with my daughter, Olivia having earned the Stampin' Up! incentive trip.  I've also just earned the next one which is a cruise in Alaska.  Martin, hubby, isn't letting Olivia usurp him from that one.

If you think you'd like free holidays or indeed would just like some top quality products at cheaper prices because of the discount you receive as a demonstrator please consider it seriously this month.

In my opinion, and of course I'm bias as I love my job, there is never a bad time to invest in our starter kit, but in July 2017 are giving new starter kit buyers a bonus of 2x clear stamp blocks, one snail adhesive, one pair of paper snips, one bone folder, one pack of grid paper and an fabulous new stamp set called Carols for Christmas. You'll be able to create beautiful cards like this

The bonus bundle is worth £65 making the starter kit worth £195 with free shipping and you pay just £99.

If you'd like some more information please go HERE or email me at zoetant@live.co.uk with any questions.

Now back to the sunshine.

Getting Ready for Thailand

Have had fun this week with my Olivia. She finally finished her A levels on Tuesday and so we went shopping in preparation for our trip to Thailand for the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip.  Olivia thought it very funny to try on the rubber ring we bought to slowly float around the lazy river which goes around the hotel where we will be staying. A bemused Charlie looked on...... Hopefully when he finishes his exams I'll earn another trip and will be able to take him as the guest.

You too could join me on a future trip.  You just need to be a member of my team and you can do this by joining Stampin Up UK. You might not want to run a small business to earn points to earn the trip, but you can also join as what we call a hobby demo and enjoy the benefits of being in a club that offers you discount on your crafting, fun get togethers and something that can fit around your family and other commitments in your life.  If you'd like to know more about joining my team or this month's bonus offer for joining please contact me via email at zoetant@live.co.uk or call 07717855179 with any questions you have or for more information. You can also learn a little more about it by looking here.
