Garden Wishes Bundle Stampin' Up!

card using shaving foam technique and dandy wishes dies and garden wishes stamps stampin up

Happy St David's Day and Welcome March.  New month means new Moving Along with the Times challenge and our theme is Friends.  Friends are so important to us all and it pays to send a card to say hi once in a while if not more.

I've shared a card made using the Garden Wishes Bundle (#156220), scroll down to find out about a special offer this month with this bundle and others.   I love Dandelions, to be fair preferably in hedgerows and on roadsides rather than in my garden, but I know some people do amazing things with them and of course pet rabbits usually love to munch on them.

I started with an inky laser cut paper lattice that was left over from a play with ink and shaving foam, but was too pretty to discard.  Once dry I placed it as a background to my card.  I die cut pieces from the Dandy Wishes dies and added some Gilded Leafing embellishment using a versa mark pen with heat and stick powder.  You could also sparingly use a fine tip glue but would need to leave well along to dry before brushing off the excess leafing.  I've added some in color jewels for some sparkle too.

For more ideas and tips to try to the Shaving foam technique visit my stampingscene post using stencils and this stampingscene post

The sentiment is perfect for this theme and you can embellish it simply with tear and tape and a piece of ribbon that you loop and stick along the reverse.

Sending Love for Moving Along with the Times Challenge

valentine anniversary card with playful alphabet dies stampin up with zoe tant uk

It's a new month and of course it's the month of love with Valentine's Day fast approaching.  Over at Moving Along With The Times we are sharing cards for love and/or anniversaries.  I've created a really simple card, but the message packs a punch with both letters and lots of lurverly hearts from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Stampin' Up! Spring mini catalogue.  I cut a piece of the DSP that is 9.5cm x 13.8cm.  I embossed this using the Gingham folder and added a matt layer of Highland Heather card stock that is 9.7cm x 14 cm.

I added the word LOVE using the Playful Alphabet dies and put Real Red card onto a piece of foam adhesive sheet to give some dimension ie raise the letters.

#simplestamping for sending a little love to one and all.

Happy Valentine's Month

Summer Fun - Cocktail anyone?

Handmade card cocktail bon voyage card using stampin up

Our new challenge at MAWTT - Moving Along With The Times - is Summer Fun or Summer Colours.  This is such a fun and easy challenge I hope you'll join in the fun.

I used the Stampin' Up! Nothing's Better Than stamp set and spotlighted this tasty looking cocktail to create a Happy Holiday card.   I shaped some Pansy Petals DSP using the Basic Border dies and layered it onto a piece of Granny Apple Green card.  I've embossed a white circle and matted that onto a Magenta Madness die cut scalloped circle and added an untied bow of gold thread.  I've also embossed a design in white to add to the idea of summer foliage although it is actually a Christmas stamp from new set Words of Cheer.  I love to get more than just Christmas use from my seasonal stamp sets.

I've played about with words from the sentiments in the same set to create a wish for a great holiday with some bling.

I coloured what I think looks a little like a Tequila Sunrise cocktail with Stampin' Blends and have sat dreaming of a sunny holiday ever since.

I hope to see your card over on the MAWTT challenge blog at some point this month.  You can visit the blog here.

Keep safe and keep stamping  and best wishes for a fabulous holiday if you are escaping.

Hugs Zoe xx
