Stampin' Up! Sneak Peeks

Stampin' Up! has great catalogues with awesome products, but it is always exciting when as a demonstrator you get to see them earlier than everyone else. It was even more exciting for me when I got this new bundle of product loveliness earlier than thousands of other demonstrators across the world as I was one of a very small group who were asked to present this suite called The Needlepoint Nook at the UK recent #Onstage2018 event in Birmingham.

This is full of bells and whistles as it was one of three cards which differed in the detail they each received. This as you can see was 'the works'.  The papers are just stunning and were created when embroidery patterns designed by Stampin' Up! were embroidered and then photographed to give that fabulous effect of threads and beauty that embroidery has to offer.

You'll be seeing more of this suite for sure, but I'm pleased that this card of mine has been well received by Stampin' Up! and my fellow demonstrators.

You'll be able to spy more sneak peeks soon, but also get your hands on our spring catalogue.  If you'd like to be added to the list of recipients of a paper copy to browse at your leisure please contact me at zoetant@live.co.uk

Christmas Card Club with a Swirly Frames Wreath

Stampin Up Merry Mistletoe, Swirly Frames and the Stamparatus for simple shaker card

I've often looked at the ladies in our merry band of Christmas Card Challenges and am in awe when they share more than one card each fortnight.  I'm in with the more than one gang now as this time whilst I've made a simple design I've made a 'Foo' as folk say in Lincolnshire.  It's a cute little shaker card that I designed with my prize patrol stamp set from Stampin' Up! Onstage.  The wreath is created with one of the stamps from the in coming Stampin' Up! set Swirly Frames.  It made this so easy and I used my Stamparatus, the new Stampin' Up! stamp positioning tool available with the new catalogue on 1 June,  to add the foliage decoration with stamp set Merry Mistletoe which will sadly retire next month.  It's been a go to set for Christmas cards for me and has met so many of our challenge club themes.

Quick and Easy Christmas Cards with Stampin' Up! Stamparatus
I've also used the new in colour Call Me Clover for the green which is a lovely  fresh, vibrant  green and coordinates well with our traditional Real Red for festive cards.  I've stamped the wreath ring in Crumb Cake and used used some new narrow solid ribbon in Real Red for the bow.  I used the decorative ribbon border to add a final touch of green on these 9.9cm (apron 4") square cards.

Remember it's never too early for the festive season!

Have a great Sunday and don't forgot to check out the other lovely blogs in our challenge group for more inspiration.

Golden Thank You!

Charlie takes his first trumpet exam tomorrow. He will be accompanied on the piano by one of the sixth form boys at one of the local secondary schools and to say thank you to Josh for coming into school to help Charlie, I've made him a card using the Musical Medley stamp set (retired US), stripes embossing folder and framelits.
It's a bit of happy accident really. I wanted to emboss the stripes made by the folder in gold, but just didn't ink the folder enough and so it didn't do what I intended, but I quite liked the look it achieved so ran with it.
The sentiment is from Thank You Kindly.
My card also fits in with this week's Less is More Challenge which has a colour theme of GOLD.  Check out their blog for lots of inspiration from many talented crafters including  Mandi and Chrissie who run the challenges there.
Linda, Victoria and I are on Stand E34 at the Summer Crafting Show this Saturday and Sunday, at Doncaster Racecourse,  so come and say hello if you are there.  We have demonstrations and a great raffle each day.  Also a great show special including free shipping* and free gift while stocks last.
Hope to see you soon.

Stampin' Up! Paper Daisies

The sunshine has sporadically visited parts of Lincolnshire this past week and reminded me that we do have to Keep Calm and Get on with it!  I've brought the garden inside by making a card using Stampin' Up! paper daisies, which if you blink you can miss in our catalogue.  On arrival they are daisies made from cotton paper, in 4 sizes (10 of each) plain whisper white that can be adhered with tombow or glue dots.  However colour them with Stampin' Up! marker pens or dye them with water and some drops of reninker and they take on a whole new look.
Stampin' Up! Paper Daisies, Curly Cute and Creative Elements
Dyed with calypso coral, spritzed with calypso coral marker pen and set upon a Creative Elements swirl embossed using versamark, heat gun and wild wasabi embossing powder, they are really pretty and most definitely bring your garden into your home!   They will also submit to and survive being slid into an envelope only to revive on receipt by your recipient.

Everyday Enchantment Promotion from Stampin' Up!
They also look great if you just stamp on them and team them with a free accessory.
Remember that during July every £45 order (excl. P&P) receives a free set of 30 designer brads and two rolls or delicate organza ribbon.  See more details about this Stampin' Up! promotion.
This card has been partially embossed with the stripes Stampin' Up! exclusive embossing folder and stamped with the Artistic Etchings stamp set and Curly Cute for the sentiment.

I hope the sun finds you too and brightens your day.  May it also shine on Andy Murray for his big match this afternoon.
Enjoy your weekend!

The Simply Scored Diagonal Plate from Stampin' Up!

Origami gift boxes made with the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate
A few posts back I shared with you the wonderful new Simply Scored Scoring Tool. It's a fab piece of kit and can be used for numerous projects not least the one above.  Connect your scoring tool with the diagonal plate and you can make delightful gift boxes in different sizes.  On their own in christmas papers like Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty DSP they make inexpensive, but classy decorations for your dinner table or under your tree, but of course you can choose your paper and make any colour way for these simple origami boxes.

The diagonal plate also allows you to make custom envelopes for your cards and comes with some popular size envelope instructions for you to follow, but you can customise your envies for each card you make.  Check out this video to see how you can make envelopes.

If your interested in trying out the Stampin' Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool with the diagonal plate then contact me about a class.
